Enhanced Recovery After Surgery in Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC: Time to Adopt, Evolve, Improve

Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) is a set of simple, planned steps before, during and after an operation — such as preparing nutrition and fitness beforehand, shorter fasting, good pain control, and eating and walking again early — to help people recover faster and more safely. This talk discussed using ERAS for cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC (garam chemo), one of the biggest operations in cancer care.
