Stage and surgical complexity
Stage 3C ovarian cancer with extensive spread on the tummy lining (peritoneal disease) may need surgery on several organs (multi-visceral cytoreduction), such as removing part of the bowel or the spleen, or stripping the diaphragm. This adds 1-3 lakh vs a Stage 3A case with limited disease.
Hospital tier and city
Large private (corporate) hospitals usually charge roughly 10-20% more than smaller hospitals. Costs in Ahmedabad and Gujarat are typically 15-25% lower than in Mumbai or Delhi for the same procedure.
